Job summary

Edge Group is seeking an Embedded Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in embedded software for aerospace systems. The role focuses on developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining safety-critical software for avionics and flight control.

You will implement real-time code, ensure deterministic performance, and collaborate with hardware and systems teams. DO-178C/DO-254 compliance, memory and power optimization, and thorough documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of embedded software development experience in aerospace or safety-critical industries.
• Strong C and C++ skills for embedded systems with ARM/STM32 knowledge and low-level interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for avionics, flight control, and aerospace systems.
• Integrate software with hardware, perform rigorous testing, and ensure DO-178C/DO-254 compliance.
• Document design specs, tests, and results; collaborate with hardware, systems, and QA teams.
