Job summary

EDGE Group is seeking a Senior Engineer: Software (Embedded Software Engineer) to develop, integrate, test, and verify safety-critical real-time embedded software for defense and aerospace platforms.

You will contribute across the software lifecycle from requirements analysis to architecture design, implementation, integration, and documentation, working with BSPs, device drivers, and interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of embedded software development with strong C/C++.
• Experience with RTOS, bare-metal systems, embedded architectures, and debugging tools.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, aviation, or other safety-critical environments with CM tools such as JAMA, DOORS, Git, SVN, or JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust real-time embedded software using C/C++, RTOS, and bare-metal architectures.
• Derive low-level software requirements and design software modules based on system and software specifications.
• Perform hardware-software integration, including BSP development, device drivers, and communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet.
• Execute software verification and validation activities, including SIL, HIL, debugging, testing, and participation in technical design reviews.
