Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior ELV/ICT Engineer to join Building Services. You will design ICT, ELV and Security systems, develop integrated, future-ready solutions, and work with multidisciplinary teams across concept to detailed design and tender stage. The role involves site meetings, design coordination, and producing technical reports.

You will apply BIM tools, ensure codes compliance, and support continuous improvement while embodying our inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in design and delivery of ICT/ELV and Security systems for buildings.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, active networks, IPTV, IP telephony and wireless access points.
• Experience with security systems including video surveillance, access control and intercom.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems and smart building technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to prepare reports and presentations.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary, diverse project teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out conceptual studies for ICT, ELV and Security systems and space needs.
• Develop ICT/ELV designs from concept to tender stage documentation.
• Prepare technical reports, design specs and engineering documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with local/international codes and client requirements.
• Coordinate with architecture, MEP, structural and other teams for integrated designs.
• Support client/site meetings and resolve design/coordination issues.
• Utilise BIM and digital tools to support delivery and coordination.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
