Job summary

Dar, a founding member of the Sidara group, seeks a Senior ELV Engineer to supervise and oversee ELV installations and ensure integration with BMS. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of ELV engineering experience in senior or supervisory roles.
• Strong expertise in CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, BMS integration.
• In-depth knowledge of international standards and local regulations.
• Proven experience in site supervision, testing, commissioning, and contractor coordination.
• Strong communication, reporting, leadership, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, inspect, test, commission, and oversee ELV installations per drawings and standards.
• Review ELV designs, drawings, reports, specs, and material submissions throughout design and construction.
• Ensure ELV systems integrate with Building Management System (BMS) including monitoring and alarms.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve technical issues and align standards.
• Assist Quantity Surveyor in assessing completed works for interim and final payments.
• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with DAR standards; maintain QA/QC docs.
• Maintain ELV vendor and systems information database.
• Participate in schedule review meetings and progress reports.
• Lead and supervise ELV team members; conduct performance evaluations.
• Promote HSE compliance and support audits.
