Job summary

KONE Middle East UAE is seeking a Modernization Senior Installation Engineer to oversee modernization projects in Dubai. You will manage site safety, quality, and timelines, coordinate with sales, suppliers and customers, and lead the installation team to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of Elevators & Escalators Installation experience.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams on-site.
• Customer-centric with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Project Management: Ensure the successful delivery of modernization installation projects with full accountability for site safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines and schedules.
• Environmental Aspects: Oversee the management of environmental aspects during the modernization works including waste handling, minimizing the use of hazardous materials and reducing travel-related emissions.
• Financial Responsibilities: Manage the project budget, ensuring cost control measures are in place and coordinate with Accounts Payable and Controlling to align site activities with contractual payment terms.
• Project Planning: Lead the sales-to-installation handover, validate customer orders, and prepare comprehensive execution programs; coordinate resources and subcontractors.
• Site Readiness & Installation Methodology: Ensure site readiness and use up-to-date installation methods to achieve high safety and quality standards.
