Job summary

Ghobash Group seeks a Senior Electrical Estimation Engineer to lead cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and bid development for complex electrical projects in Abu Dhabi. The role requires deep expertise in HV/MV/LV systems and adherence to ADNOC and DEWA standards, plus strong supplier negotiations.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, review drawings and datasheets, and ensure precise cost calculations and ISO documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 08 years of experience and 05 years as Estimation Engineer, preferably in electrical engineering.
• Experience UAE or Middle East is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess tender ITBs, drawings, specifications, and project schedules to understand requirements.
• Prepare accurate BOQ and detailed cost sheets including direct/indirect costs.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers/subcontractors to secure competitive rates.
• Review datasheets, single-line diagrams, and cable schedules for accuracy.
• Maintain ISO documentation and records for quality management.
