Job summary

TASC Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Senior Electrician – O&M Power to support maintenance, repair and operation of electrical distribution systems. The role focuses on ensuring reliable power infrastructure through preventive and breakdown maintenance, electrical fault diagnosis, inspections and operational support during outages.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, has hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair, strong knowledge of power

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical power systems and equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults while minimizing downtime.
• Perform regular inspection, testing and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Monitor electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Support operations during scheduled and unscheduled power outages and assist with restoration of services.
• Carry out electrical maintenance and repair activities in line with operating procedures.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical/incident reports.
• Identify electrical system upgrades and improvements to enhance reliability.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations and operational procedures.
• Guide and support team members in carrying out maintenance activities and established procedures.
