Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical inspection on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and practices.
• Certification as an Electrical Inspector (NFPA, ICC, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and quality management systems (ISO 9001, OSHA).
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of electrical systems and installations, including wiring, lighting, grounding, switchgear, panels, and conduits.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with project specs and electrical codes.
• Review electrical shop drawings, submittals, method statements, and ITPs.
• Witness and document electrical tests such as insulation resistance, continuity, grounding, and functional tests.
• Identify deviations and issue Non-Conformance Reports as needed.
• Supervise contractor work to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with contractors and teams to resolve site issues promptly.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare daily/weekly reports using platforms like Aconex.
