Job summary

Dar, the founding member of the Sidara group, is seeking a senior site inspector to plan and perform inspections for complex works in Dubai. You will mentor junior inspectors and review shop drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.

The role requires a technical diploma or associate degree in engineering or construction, 8+ years of site inspection or construction supervision experience, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and standards for building, mall, or airport

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or associate degree in engineering or construction.
• Site inspection or construction supervision experience.
• Competence in interpreting technical drawings and standards.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the construction-related field, with a strong background in building, mall, or airport projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform inspections for more technically complex works.
• Guide and mentor junior inspectors in performing their duties.
• Review work against approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Prepare summaries of recurring site issues and inspection trends.
• Verify contractor corrective actions for previously identified issues.
• Participate in resolving inspection-related conflicts.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with QA/QC and HSE procedures.
• Review material deliveries for conformance prior to installation.
• Escalate unresolved non-conformities and recommend solutions.
