AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to supervise and coordinate all electrical works for stormwater, irrigation, roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE. You will review shop drawings, coordinate with DEWA and other authorities, and ensure quality, safety, and timely handover through testing and commissioning.

The role requires a strong background in electrical distribution systems and utility coordination within the UAE/GCC region, with a minimum of seven years in construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects.
• Experience with stormwater, irrigation, roads, utilities, pumping stations, street lighting, and electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience with UAE/GCC utility coordination and authority requirements.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and inspect electrical works related to stormwater, irrigation, pumping stations, street lighting, power distribution, telecom networks, control systems, and associated infrastructure works.
• Review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, testing procedures, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient execution.
• Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems per QA/QC and HSE standards.
• Coordinate with DEWA, Etisalat, du, RTA, DM, and other stakeholders for service connections and inspections.
