Job summary

Client of Adler Talent Solutions in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in transmission line projects. The role covers engineering design coordination, execution, and technical monitoring of high-voltage networks to ensure compliance with project specs, quality standards, safety requirements and timelines.

You will coordinate with design, civil, procurement, construction and project management teams, review drawings and BOQs, monitor tower siting,

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of overhead transmission line systems and associated engineering activities.
• Experience with high-voltage transmission line projects (132/220/400 kV).
• Knowledge of tower structures, conductors, insulators, earthing, foundations and stringing activities.
• Familiarity with drawings, project specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering activities for overhead transmission line projects.
• Review transmission line drawings, tower spotting, profile drawings, sag-tension calculations and foundation designs.
• Coordinate with design, civil, procurement, construction and project management teams.
• Monitor project execution including tower foundation, tower erection, stringing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, technical specifications and statutory requirements.
• Review technical documents, material specifications, BOQs and engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors for clarifications and updates.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC and site safety procedures.
• Support site inspections, testing, commissioning and project documentation preparation.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and deviations.
