Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

• Coordinate with electrical, architectural and MEP teams for integration.
• Review documents to ensure technical accuracy, quality and safety.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi specializing in high‑voltage HV and extra‑high‑voltage EHV transmission substation projects. The ideal candidate must have existing TAQA Transmission TAQA‑T approval as a Civil Design Engineer along with expertise in civil and structural design for transmission substations.

Work Location: UAE Abu Dhabi

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and review civil and structural designs for HV EHV transmission substation projects in accordance with TAQA‑T standards and specifications
• Design and assess equipment foundations structural supports cable trenches duct banks control buildings and other associated substation civil works
• Prepare and review civil structural design calculations technical drawings specifications and engineering documentation
• Ensure compliance with TAQA‑T design requirements technical standards and submission procedures
• Coordinate with electrical architectural and MEP design teams to ensure design integration and resolve technical interfaces
• Review design documents and drawings to ensure technical accuracy quality safety and compliance with project requirements
• Support technical submissions respond to review comments and incorporate required revisions to obtain design approvals
• Collaborate with project teams and relevant stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
• Existing TAQA Transmission TAQA‑T approval as a Civil Design Engineer is mandatory
• Proven experience in civil and structural design for HV EHV transmission substation projects
• Previous experience in Abu Dhabi transmission substation projects
• Strong knowledge of substation civil works including foundations equipment supports cable trenches and control buildings
• Familiarity with TAQA‑T design standards technical specifications and submission procedures
• Ability to prepare and review structural calculations engineering drawings and technical documents
• Experience coordinating with electrical architectural and MEP disciplines
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant structural design software
• Proven experience with TAQA‑T approval status and relevant transmission substation projects
