Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks an senior Electrical Engineer to lead 400kV substation projects and coordinate across civil, mechanical, and SCADA teams. You will review SLDs, protection schematics, and electrical layouts, ensuring compliance with IEC/IEEE standards and client requirements.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage technical documentation, and liaise with clients and vendors to resolve issues while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong experience with 400kV/220kV HV/EHV substation projects.
• Experience with GIS/AIS substations and EPC projects preferred.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and utility specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical engineering activities for 400kV substation projects.
• Review and prepare electrical design drawings, calculations, specs, and docs.
• Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, SCADA and other disciplines.
• Review SLDs, protection & control schematics, and layouts.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Ensure QA/QC, HSE, and project engineering procedures are followed.
