Job summary

Menasa & Partners FZ-LLC in Dubai is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead electrical design across complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments in the GCC. You will take projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC and authority approvals, coordinating with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Strong UAE/GCC consultancy experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartered status (preferred).
• Proven ability to lead electrical design and manage project finances.
• Exceptional communication and technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments in the GCC.
• Take projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC documentation and authority approvals.
• Work directly with clients and manage commercial/financial aspects of projects.
• Lead a Dubai-based and offshore design team.
• Ensure designs comply with DEWA, SEWA and Civil Defence requirements.
• Provide high-quality electrical design packages.

About the Opportunity

We are supporting an international consultancy with the appointment of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing Dubai team.

The role will lead electrical design across complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments throughout the GCC, taking projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC and authority approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments across the GCC
• Take projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC documentation and authority approvals
• Work directly with clients and take responsibility for the commercial and financial aspects of projects
• Lead and motivate a small Dubai-based and offshore design team
• Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements including DEWA, SEWA and Civil Defence
• Provide strong technical leadership and deliver high-quality electrical design packages

Requirements

• 12+ years’ experience in electrical design, with strong UAE/GCC consultancy experience
• Excellent knowledge of local codes and authority requirements (DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defence)
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Chartered (or actively working towards Chartered status) – preferred
• Proven ability to lead electrical design and manage commercial/financial project aspects
• Exceptional communication skills and strong technical capability
