Job summary

NMDC ENERGY PJSC. is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer for Oil & Gas EPC projects in the UAE. You will lead end-to-end electrical pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and handover activities, ensuring safety and adherence to IEC/IEEE standards.

The role requires 10+ years of commissioning experience, a degree in electrical engineering, and UAE/GCC exposure. You will coordinate with multiple teams to deliver on schedule and to spec, supporting plant start-up and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of Electrical Commissioning experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end electrical pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and system handover activities for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
Perform testing, inspection, troubleshooting and energization of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, generators and electrical distribution systems.
Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Instrumentation, Operations and Client teams to ensure safe and timely project execution.
Conduct system walkdowns, manage punch lists, verify mechanical completion and support plant startup activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC/IEEE standards, client requirements and HSE regulations.
Prepare commissioning procedures, test reports, as-built documentation and final turnover dossiers.
