Job summary

NMDC ENERGY PJSC. is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer for Oil & Gas EPC projects in the UAE. You will lead end-to-end electrical pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and handover activities, ensuring safety and adherence to IEC/IEEE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of Electrical Commissioning experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end electrical pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup and system handover activities for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Perform testing, inspection, troubleshooting and energization of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, generators and electrical distribution systems.
• Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Instrumentation, Operations and Client teams to ensure safe and timely project execution.
• Conduct system walkdowns, manage punch lists, verify mechanical completion and support plant startup activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC/IEEE standards, client requirements and HSE regulations.
• Prepare commissioning procedures, test reports, as-built documentation and final turnover dossiers.
