Job summary

Thinking Search in the UAE invites applications for Associate/Senior Associate in Equity Capital Markets to join our Dubai or Abu Dhabi team. You will advise issuers, underwriters and corporate clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions across the Middle East.

The role suits lawyers based in the UAE with strong IPO experience, GCC market knowledge and exceptional drafting, negotiation and client-management skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with Equity Capital Markets experience at a leading international or regional law firm.
• Strong experience advising on IPOs and other equity capital markets transactions.
• Experience advising on GCC transactions with familiarity to regional stock exchanges and regulators.
• Candidates should already be based in the UAE.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Commercially minded with strong client relationship management skills.
• Able to manage matters independently and work effectively across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings and other public equity issuances
• Act for issuers, underwriters, investment banks and corporate clients across the GCC
• Draft and negotiate transaction documentation and regulatory filings
• Manage transactions from inception through to completion, working closely with clients and international colleagues
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across the region
• Support business development initiatives, client pitches and thought leadership
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers where appropriate
