Job summary

Dubai-based investment bank is seeking a Director-level professional to lead and execute transactions across M&A and ECM. This broad role requires senior experience in originating and closing deals, managing client relationships, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across the GCC region.

The successful candidate will handle pitch to completion, mentor junior staff, and contribute to expanding the firm’s M&A and ECM franchise in the Middle East. Dubai and GCC exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of investment banking experience across M&A and ECM.
• Strong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation and transaction analysis.
• Excellent understanding of capital markets and corporate finance.
• Strong client-facing and business development capabilities.
• Existing relationships with corporates, sponsors, investors and market participants in the Middle East would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A transactions including acquisitions, disposals, mergers and JV mandates.
• Lead and execute ECM transactions including IPOs, follow-on offerings and other equity offerings.
• Develop senior-level client relationships across the Middle East and drive origination.
• Oversee transaction execution from pitch to completion and coordinate with internal teams and external advisers.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to growth of M&A and ECM franchise in the region.
