Job summary

Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior E&I Inspector with a diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. The role focuses on inspecting construction activities for high and medium voltage power distribution systems, switchgear, and related instrumentation, with FAT/SAT liaison responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries as an inspector in construction of new and Brownfield modifications to electrical power distribution systems (33 kV, 11 kV, 3.3 kV, 415 V), switchgear, control gear, UPS, grounding and lighting.
• Proven experience liaising with EPC Contractors, Manufacturers and Client representatives during FAT/SAT of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Experience interpreting EPC Contractor and vendor design documentation for construction, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems (DCS), including modifications to ESD, Fire & Gas, control room architecture, and package boiler instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with EPC Contractors, manufacturers and client representatives during FAT and SAT.
• Oversee construction, testing and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems (DCS).
• Ensure compliance with ISO and other international standards and prepare technical reports.
