Bureau Veritas | Marine & Offshore in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior E&I Inspector with extensive Oil & Gas inspection experience to assess electrical distribution, switchgear, controls, UPS, earthing, and lighting. You will supervise FAT/SAT activities with EPC Contractors and vendors to ensure compliance.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, 15+ years of field experience, and strong English reporting skills, with familiarity with ISO, ASME, API, DNV and related

Qualificações

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries as an inspector in construction and brownfield modifications.
• Experience liaising with EPC Contractors, Manufacturers and Client representatives during FAT/SAT of electrical equipment and instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect construction and modification of 33 kV, 11 kV, 3.3 kV and 415 V distribution systems, switchgear, and control gear.
• Oversee FAT/SAT activities with EPC Contractors and vendors.
• Interpret and apply EPC/Vendor design documentation for instrumentation and control systems, including ESD/Fire & Gas and control room architectures.

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industries as an inspector in the construction of new and Brownfield modifications to existing 33 KV,11kV, 3.3 kV and 415 V electric power distribution systems, switchgear, control gear, distribution boards, UPS, earthing & lighting, underground cabling, cathodic protection, lighting and small power distribution systems.
• Proved experience in liaising with EPC Contractors, Manufacturers and Client representatives during the FAT and SAT of electric equipment and instrumentation equipment.
• Must be experienced in interpreting and applying EPC Contractor and Vendor design documentation in the construction, testing and commissioning of all instrumentation and control systems in DCS including modifications to the existing ESD, Fire and Gas systems and control room architecture and provision of new package boiler instrumentation systems.
• Good knowledge of ISO and other International Standards.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language including writing of technical reports.
• Computer literate and familiarity with codes ASME, AWS, API, DNV, ISO and BS.
