Job summary

Zohorecruit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the Construction Management Plan, Site Specific Health and Safety Plan, QA/QC Plan and related documents essential for successful project execution.

You will lead action plans to mitigate cost overruns or delays, coordinate with client and contractors, manage procurement for field office operations, and monitor budgets and change orders to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in the UAE.
• 4+ years of experience managing Infrastructure projects in Dubai in similar role.

Responsibilities

• Oversees establishment of the ConstructionManagement Plan, Site Specific Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
• Works to devise and executes action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of any such changes.
• Acts as the contractor’s representative with the client, subcontractors and suppliers during the project execution.
• Procurement – Prepares purchase requisitions and procures items necessary for the operation of the field office.
• Establishes procedures for the administration of all field vehicles and equipment; maintains necessary status logs and reports.
• Coordinates the drafting of requisitions, subcontract scopes of work, amendments, and task orders.
• Monitors contractor's expenses versus budget. Prepares draft amendments if required.
• Manages current and timely change orders.
• Cost Engineering – Supervises the preparation of the contractor's monthly construction progress report and the contract status report.
