Job summary

Al Ghurair Investment LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior Construction Manager to lead end-to-end construction activities from mobilization through handover, coordinating civil, structural, and MEP disciplines.

You will review drawings, schedules and budgets, manage subcontractors and resources, drive HSE compliance, and ensure projects meet timelines and quality standards. UAE/GCC experience and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 12–18 years of relevant construction experience with large-scale projects.
• Minimum 5 years in construction management/managerial role.
• PMP, RICS or related certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction activities from mobilization through completion and handover.
• Develop execution strategies, methodologies and work plans aligned with objectives.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor civil, structural, MEP across disciplines.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and schedules for constructability.
• Manage manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors and resources.
• Establish priorities, sequences and short/long-term execution plans.
• Monitor progress against schedules, milestones and contractual commitments.
• Identify delays/risks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Design Engineering, Planning, Procurement, QA/QC HSE, Commercial.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, codes and authority requirements.
• Lead meetings with consultants, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor quality, close inspections, NCRs and snags.
• Ensure HSE policies and safe working practices are followed.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices across projects.
• Prepare progress and performance reports for senior management.
