Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a Joinery Draughtsman responsible for preparing shop drawings, developing main drawings from project specs, and coordinating with the project team to resolve site details. The role requires attention to detail and proficiency in AutoCAD.

You will submit drawings and related documents to the DC for prompt delivery to the client/consultants, plan and issue drawings per project specifications, and maintain a change log for scope modifications while providing weekly

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing shop drawings, coordinating with project teams, and producing accurate construction drawings using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings based on BOQ and ID reference drawings.
• Ensure timely submission of shop drawings in accordance with the target schedule.
• Develop main drawings based on project specifications.
• Update shop drawings after receiving feedback or comments.
• Collaborate with the project team to review site details.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings and related documents to DC for prompt delivery to the client/consultants.
• Plan and issue shop drawings according to the project specifications.
• Maintain and update the change log register when there are modifications beyond the project scope.
• Prepare and submit a weekly productivity report to the Head of Department (HOD).
