Job summary

TalentOne seeks an experienced Senior Draftsman with mandatory warehouse construction project experience to prepare accurate shop drawings, coordination drawings, structural steel drawings, reinforcement detailing, and as-built documentation in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of UAE drafting experience, be proficient in AutoCAD, and possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Drafting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE construction experience in drafting.
• Proven experience preparing shop drawings for warehouse projects in the UAE.
• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Revit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, construction drawings, and coordination drawings for warehouse construction projects.
• Develop structural steel fabrication and erection drawings for warehouse structures.
• Prepare reinforcement detailing and rebar drawings for foundations and reinforced concrete elements as per approved structural designs.
• Produce MEP coordination drawings to support multidisciplinary project execution.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Design Consultants, Architects, and Site Engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, design changes, RFIs, and site requirements.
• Prepare accurate as-built drawings for project handover.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, document control, and drawing archives.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, consultant requirements, UAE authority regulations, and company drafting standards.
• Support project teams throughout construction until final handover.
