Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking a Civil CAD Draftsman to create precise civil drawings and schematics using AutoCAD. You will interpret sketches and project specs, aiding in constructing drawings for high-rise projects and ensuring UAE compliance.

You will collaborate with engineers and PMs to capture requirements, maintain meticulous draft records, and support the drafting team with various tasks, supporting project success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil CAD Draftsman or similar role in civil engineering with UAE project experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, codes, and best practices.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Relevant technical or associate degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and schematics using AutoCAD
• Interpret and work from sketches, verbal instructions, and project specifications to create designs.
• Assist in the preparation of construction drawings for projects like high rise building
• Review and modify existing drawings to incorporate design changes, revisions, and improvements.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant UAE standards, codes, and regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and project files.
• Provide support to the engineering team with any drafting-related tasks as needed.
