Job summary

Caliphx in Dubai seeks an experienced Architectural Drafter to prepare drawings for villa modifications, extensions, fit-outs for commercial, clinics, offices and landscapes. You will take site measurements, produce as-built and submission-ready packages, and coordinate with engineers and consultants.

Requirements include UAE experience, a Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting or related field, strong AutoCAD skills, and ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum two years UAE experience in architectural drafting, fit-out works or authority approval drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with layers, external references, layouts, scales and plotting.
• Familiarity with UAE building requirements and authority submission standards, particularly DM, DDA and Trakhees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings for villa modifications, extensions, fit-outs, restaurants, clinics, offices, warehouses and landscaping projects.
• Prepare drawing packages for submissions to Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, DHCC, DIEZ and relevant authorities.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP and fire/life safety layouts.
• Prepare final as-built drawings for completion approvals and inspections.

Prepare architectural drawings for villa modifications extensions commercial fit-outs restaurants clinics offices warehouses and landscaping projects Develop existing proposed demolition and as-built drawings including floor plans elevations sections and detailed layouts Conduct site visits take accurate measurements and prepare drawings reflecting actual site conditions Prepare drawing packages for submissions to Dubai Municipality DDA Trakhees DHCC DIEZ and relevant developers or community management teams Revise drawings based on authority comments client requirements and engineers instructions Coordinate architectural drawings with structural MEP and fire and life safety layouts Prepare structural details under the guidance of the structural engineer Prepare area calculations drawing schedules and layouts clearly identifying proposed modifications Coordinate with project managers engineers consultants and contractors to meet submission deadlines Maintain organised CAD files drawing revisions and approved drawing records Prepare final as-built drawings for completion approvals and inspections

Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.Preferably a minimum of two years of UAE experience in architectural drafting, fit-out works or authority approval drawings.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, including layers, external references, layouts, scales and plotting.Ability to independently prepare complete architectural drawing sets from site measurements and engineers' instructions.Familiarity with UAE building requirements and authority submission standards, particularly DM, DDA and Trakhees.Experience in villa modifications, commercial fit-outs, extensions and as-built documentation.Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.Good communication skills for coordination with the project team and site personnel.Knowledge of SketchUp or Revit is an advantage.Candidates should provide sample drawings or a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
