RUKOOZ WOOD INDUSTRIES LLC in UAE is seeking a Senior Draftsman with strong expertise in detailed shop drawings for custom joinery and interior fit-out projects. You will prepare fabrication drawings, collaborate with designers, estimators, production teams and project managers to ensure accuracy.

The role requires 5+ years in joinery and woodworking, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to read architectural, structural and interior drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery and woodworking industries.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and interior design drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
• Review architectural, interior design, and consultant drawings to develop accurate production drawings.
• Produce detailed sections, elevations, layouts, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and project teams to ensure technical accuracy.
• Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and hardware schedules as required.
• Resolve technical issues and propose practical joinery solutions during the drafting stage.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and company standards.
• Revise and update drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements.
• Support production and site teams with technical clarifications throughout project execution.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control procedures.
