Job summary

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Drafting, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience as a Joinery Draughtsman in interior fit-out or joinery manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects.
• Develop detailed drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, and other joinery items.
• Review architectural/interior design drawings to produce accurate manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare sections, elevations, plans and fabrication details.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, production teams and site engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Review project specifications and ensure drawings comply with client requirements and approved material specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement teams regarding hardware, accessories and material requirements.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, design changes and site conditions.
• Prepare cutting lists, material schedules and hardware schedules for production.
• Coordinate with CNC programming and factory production teams when required.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and resolve installation issues.
• Maintain drawing registers and document revisions.
• Support project handover by preparing as-built drawings.
