Job summary

Black & Grey HR partners with a Commercial Real Estate company in Abu Dhabi to hire an experienced Projects Director. The role oversees all design and construction work-streams for new developments and asset enhancements, leading the Development & Projects department to deliver high-quality, efficient outcomes aligned with strategic goals.

The position requires leading cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving performance across the project lifecycle in a dynamic market

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in civil/structural disciplines with related field experience.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced leadership and project oversight.
• Professional PMP or equivalent certification valued for governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive management to shape strategy and long-term profitability.
• Oversee design and construction work-streams for new developments and asset enhancements.
• Direct cross-functional teams to ensure brand standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and quality expectations across all projects.
• Mentor senior staff and align departmental objectives with company goals.
• Drive Agile/Lean approaches and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field

Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Professional certification (e.g., PMP)
