WSP Global Inc. in Dubai seeks an Associate Director - Fire & Life Safety to lead and grow our specialist team. The role focuses on delivering complex Fire and Life Safety strategies across major infrastructure and building projects in the UAE, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

You will manage the Fire & Life Safety team, drive design quality, coordinate with authorities, and mentor junior staff to foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in fire & life safety, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of regional and international codes (SBC/UAE Fire Code, NFPA, IBC, BS/EN).
• Proven track record delivering large-scale buildings/infrastructure in GCC.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the Fire & Life Safety team on multidisciplinary projects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards; develop performance-based designs.
• Oversee on-site inspections and project commissioning for fire safety.
