WSP in the Middle East in Dubai is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Fire & Life Safety to lead and grow our specialist team on major infrastructure and building projects, delivering complex fire and life safety strategies that meet local UAE codes and global standards.

You will lead design, CFD reviews, BIM coordination, site inspections and approvals with authorities, mentor junior staff, and foster collaboration across disciplines to ensure high-quality, compliant outcomes for

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in fire & life safety, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of regional and international codes (SBC/UAE Fire Code, NFPA, IBC, BS/EN).
• Professional certification (CFPS, CEng, PE) is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Fire & Life Safety team on multidisciplinary projects.
• Lead design efforts to ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
• Conduct onsite inspections during project construction.
• Coordinate and present projects to approving authorities.
• Review designs in BIM to ensure fire safety integration.
• Mentor and manage junior staff.
