Job summary

Halian seeks a Senior Tech Lead/Project Manager to drive the Digital Transfer program in Abu Dhabi. You will oversee technical and delivery efforts, align digital solutions with business goals, and guide cross-functional teams to successful outcomes.

Responsibilities include governance, risk and vendor management, and regular status reporting to senior management. A strong cloud, Java, and SDLC background with leadership experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's or PMP/Scrum Master is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles/ IT project management delivering complex digital projects.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and modern development practices.
• Experience with web and mobile applications, CRM systems, and cloud platforms.
• Strong Java development background; ability to lead technical discussions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture to guide development teams on technical matters.
• Exposure to React.js or other modern front-end frameworks is a strong plus.
• Soft skills: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving, leadership, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Act as Tech Lead for the Digital Transfer program, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and budget adherence.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring best practices and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units IT and vendors to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Identify and mitigate technology risks associated with the program.
• Ensure high quality throughout the project lifecycle from planning to deployment.
• Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers and technical staff.
