Job summary

P99SOFT Pvt Ltd in Dubai is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and manage the cloud infrastructure for a crypto trading platform. The role focuses on AWS-based infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, security, observability, and high-availability systems across Production, Staging, and Development.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to build secure, scalable, low-latency environments and support 24/7 crypto market operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infra or similar.
• Strong AWS experience with EC2, VPC, IAM and networking.
• Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Production Kafka and Redis experience.
• Experience operating Node.js apps; NestJS/Next.js preferred.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Cloudflare, DNS, WAF, caching, DDoS protection experience.
• Prometheus/Grafana monitoring and centralized logging.
• Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform; CloudFormation acceptable.
• Ansible or similar configuration tools.
• Docker containers and Kubernetes deployments.
• SRE, security: IAM, secrets management, encryption, network security.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Understanding crypto infra and 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage AWS infra across Production, Staging, Development.
• Configure load balancers, Cloudflare, DNS, WAF, caching, VPN.
• Deploy/manage Kafka and Redis, including topics and persistence.
• Operate Node.js (NestJS) backend and Next.js frontend apps.
• Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated builds and gates.
• Implement monitoring via Prometheus and Grafana with dashboards.
• Enforce security: IAM, least-privilege, secrets management, encryption.
• Design HA, backup, failover, recovery and DR mechanisms.
• Monitor performance, latency, capacity, costs.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation; Ansible config management.
• Manage Docker/Kubernetes; support 24/7 on-call incidents.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash/Python.
• Document infra; ensure reproducible and auditable environments.
• Support secure crypto-exchange connectivity and crypto workloads.
