Job summary

Quantum Talent Group is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a 12-month contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure automation, SRE practices, and scalable CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4+ years of professional DevOps and cloud infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Deep practical experience building and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Terraform and Ansible for IaC, Docker and Kubernetes experience, CI/CD automation and GitOps (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
• Professional availability for a 12-month contract in Abu Dhabi, UAE (UAE residency required).

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage scalable cloud-native infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement and maintain IaC modules and automated provisioning using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build, scale, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Administer container platforms and orchestration clusters using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Datadog stacks.
• Enforce cloud security baselines, IAM policies, network segmentation, and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to accelerate feature delivery; perform RCA and preventive measures.
• Manage container registries, SSL certificates, DNS, and domain routing.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and disaster recovery plans.
