Job summary

Client of AIQU is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer in Abu Dhabi to design and maintain scalable infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on DevOps experience, with strong Jenkins expertise, Docker and Kubernetes proficiency, and infrastructure-as-code skills using Terraform.

You'll collaborate across development, QA and operations to automate processes, improve reliability, and drive continuous improvement while upholding security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years hands-on experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools and practices, particularly Jenkins.
• High proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, Git for version control.
• Experience defining infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Strong Linux administration skills and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Good communication and problem solving abilities.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in designing building and maintaining scalable infrastructure and CI CD pipelines to support rapid software delivery This role involves close collaboration with development QA and operations teams to automate processes ensure system reliability and drive continuous improvement across the software lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain CI CD pipelines using Jenkins Docker and Git
• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Define and provision infrastructure as code using Terraform

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Azure DevOps Engineer or equivalent certification
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana and the ELK Stack
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible Chef or Puppet
• Understanding of security best practices compliance frameworks and vulnerability management
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
• Knowledge of network architecture and protocols relevant to distributed systems
