Job summary

ASICO Real Estate Llc is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design development and coordination across multiple projects. You will ensure architectural, structural and MEP designs are buildable, code-compliant and aligned with schedules, acting as the technical link between design studio and site.

You will review consultant drawings, manage BIM protocols, coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and provide on-site design support and QA/QC.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in architectural or engineering design.
• Familiarity with UAE construction codes and authority approval processes (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Civil Defence, DEWA).
• Qualified Architect with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day design development and coordination across architectural, structural and MEP designs.
• Act as the BIM and technical reviewer to ensure design submissions meet brief, budget and authority requirements.
• Provide hands-on design support to construction on site, resolve design queries and issue clarifications.
• Maintain design quality and compliance with brand standards and regulations; identify non-conformities and risks.
• Manage relationships with design consultants, coordinate permits and approvals with authorities.
• Mentor junior design and BIM team members; coordinate with Commercial, Procurement and Construction teams.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and support client design submissions.
• Stay updated on UAE design codes and BIM technologies; escalate risks for project risk register.
