Job summary

ASICO in Dubai is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead design development across projects, ensuring architectural, structural, and MEP designs are buildable, code-compliant, and aligned with schedules.

You will be the technical link between design studio and site, reviewing submissions, coordinating consultants, and supporting construction on site. The role reports to the Director of Operations & Projects Development.

Qualifications

Qualified Architect with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
10–12 years of architectural/engineering design experience, incl. construction-stage support.
Minimum 5 years UAE experience; consultant/developer background preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead design development and coordination of architectural, structural, and MEP designs.
Review consultant drawings, identify clashes, and ensure on-time deliverables.
Act as the technical link between design studio and site, resolving design queries on site.
Maintain BIM protocols and support value engineering without compromising quality.
Manage relationships with consultants and authorities (Dubai Municipality, DDA, DEWA).
Support testing, commissioning and handover with accurate as-built drawings.
