Job summary

EDGE Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage local and international purchasing, primarily technical items, and oversee all related documentation in line with policy and ISO requirements.

You will source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, maintain records in ERP, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliant procurement across UAE's defence and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
• Certified Professional Purchasing qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
• Understanding of confidentiality in procurement and supplier qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement including requisitions, orders, contracts and ERP updates.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation ensuring policy and risk compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, logistics, and inspection teams to meet delivery needs.
• Develop supplier relationships and monitor performance for continuous improvement.
• Track contract performance, payment schedules, and audit documentation.
• Uphold procurement ethics and OSH compliance across activities.
