Job summary

Techsa seeks a Senior Data Modeler (Telco) to own the telco data model from source systems through canonical entities, identity rules, and attribute definitions. You will work with client stakeholders during data discovery and translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on telco data modelling experience, TM Forum SID/eTOM knowledge, and expertise in BSS/OSS data, CDR/xDR, and SQL for data mapping.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on telco data modelling experience.
• Working knowledge of TM Forum SID, eTOM, and 3GPP charging.
• Experience with BSS/OSS domains: catalog, order, mediation, rating, billing.
• Experience with identity resolution and using MSISDN.

We are looking for a Senior Data Modeler (Telco) to join our team and take ownership of key areas within our technology and data platform. Owns the telco data model from source systems through to canonical entities, identity rules, and attribute definitions. Works with client stakeholders during data discovery.

• Own and deliver solutions within the scope of the role, from requirements and technical/design decisions through implementation and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with engineering, product, data, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Apply strong engineering and/or domain expertise to build reliable, maintainable, and production-ready capabilities.
• Contribute to architecture, standards, documentation, quality, and technical decision-making appropriate to the role.
• Identify performance, scalability, data quality, usability, reliability, or operational risks and address them proactively.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure solutions integrate effectively with existing systems and platform components.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Telco data modelling, TM Forum SID, BSS and OSS data, CDR and xDR, identity resolution, SQL, data mapping.
• Strong working knowledge of TM Forum SID, eTOM, and 3GPP charging and CDR structures.
• Practical understanding of BSS and OSS: product catalogue, order, mediation, rating, billing, collections, inventory.
• Clear grasp of party, customer, account, subscriber, and service, and why flattening them breaks B2B and family plans.
• Has worked on identity resolution using MSISDN, including portability, SIM swap, and number recycling.
• Maps source systems to a canonical model and writes implementable specifications, not slide decks.

• Customer data platform or single customer view delivery.
• Consent and data governance frameworks.
• Experience running requirements workshops with client stakeholders.
