Job summary

Techsa is seeking a Senior Technical Data Architect to own the data platform architecture end to end, from landing and storage to processing, serving, and governance. You will set the standards the data engineering team builds against and work across teams to deliver scalable, production-ready capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant experience, hands-on expertise in data architecture, ETL, data warehousing, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, lakehouse design, and SQL, and a proven track

• Real ownership of data platform architecture, not pipeline delivery alone.
• Hands on across both batch and streaming processing.

Owns the technical data architecture end to end: how data lands, is stored, processed, served, and governed. Sets the standards the data engineering team builds against.

• Lakehouse architecture, open table formats, and query engines.
• Real time serving and OLAP stores.
• Standards for pipelines, schema evolution, data quality, lineage, and access control.
• Self managed and on premises infrastructure rather than managed cloud services.
• Has designed for scale, cost, and multi tenancy and can explain the trade offs.

Domain Requirement

• Telco or Banking is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Data mesh or data product operating models.
• Experience supporting multiple client deployments of the same platform.
