Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Senior Manager to join the MENAT Corporate Credit Risk team, covering a UAE Corporate portfolio and acting as the lead risk partner for Structured Trade and Specialised Lending. The role demands strong underwriting capability, deep product knowledge, and the ability to engage with evolving sectors and new structures.

You will collaborate with Business and Product teams to shape risk appetite, provide guidance on complex transactions, and ensure decisions align with guidelines

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field; MBA/ACAs/CFA/ACIB preferred

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and oversee complex transactions across structured and specialised lending.
• Manage overall asset quality of the assigned UAE portfolio and identify trends.
• Lead risk coverage for specialised lending including venture debt, project finance and leveraged finance.
• Coordinate with Group, Products and Policy teams to align MENAT with Group standards.
• Build relationships with Business and key partners and provide guidance on complex transactions.
