Job summary

Standard Bank Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced senior professional to drive end-to-end Corporate and Investment Banking credit risk management across the MENA region. You will partner with country, regional, and CIB stakeholders to align risk appetite and ensure fit-for-purpose risk capabilities in a fast-moving financial services environment.

The role requires broad sector experience in Energy & Infrastructure and Financial Institutions, strong credit risk expertise, and a solid grasp

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in risk management or related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in credit operations or credit portfolio management.
• Experience with credit workflow tools and automated decisioning technology.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end CIB credit risk management across MENA in coordination with Country, regional and CIB stakeholders.
• Ensure risk appetite setting aligns with Credit Risk Management Framework and business strategy.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of FI risk, energy & infrastructure and sovereign risk as applicable to Dubai/UAE market.
