Job summary

ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking a Senior Credit Documentation Officer to act as the final check in limit approvals, ensuring documents, securities, and insurance are in order before disbursement.

You will prepare and review FOL/agreements, monitor risk ratings and expiry dates, support the Team Leader, and maintain SLA-driven customer service while safeguarding bank documentation.

Qualifications

• Understanding of bank policies and product knowledge.
• Knowledge of Islamic credit products.
• Strong analytical ability and PC skills.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure terms and conditions of credit approvals are complied with before disbursement.
• Prepare and review FOL/Agreements/Security documents for compliance with legal standards.
• Update systems with credit information such as risk rating, expiry dates and collateral details.
• Support Team Leader in implementing recommendations from Credit Review/Audit.
• Maintain SLA-driven customer service and timely release of facility limits.
• Log irregularities and deviations with required approvals in the exception report.
• Ensure safe custody of all credit and security documentation.
