Job summary

ADIB Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Manager - Credit Control to oversee limit management and documentation across Wholesale, Business Banking and FI. You will guard against risks by ensuring compliant security packages, legal docs, and enforceable charges before releasing limits.

Lead the team, review credit approvals, and support Relationship Managers with timely, accurate processing. Experience in credit administration and a strong legal understanding are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Commercial products and Islamic banking implications.
• Strong analytical ability and PC skills.
• Knowledge of UAE company laws and related legal issues in financing.
• Effective English communication; Arabic knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of Islamic/ Sharia-compliant banking practices.

Responsibilities

• Authorize credit limits after ensuring terms are met and securities/documents obtained.
• Scrutinize facility documentation and related securities for Wholesale, SME, syndication, FI.
• Prepare/Review cash facilities and security docs per approved terms.
• Participate in system testing for credit control enhancements.
• Update risk ratings, expiry dates, and collateral details in systems.
• Identify irregularities and ensure proper tracking in systems.
• Prepare documentation checklists for clients in the assigned segment.
• Assist in implementing recommendations from Credit Review/Audit.
