Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a Senior Specialist - Credit CAD Controls to oversee credit limit governance within the unit at Oud Atouba/Abu Dhabi. You will guide a team on day-to-day limit encoding, control, and ensuring compliance with approvals, SOPs, DOA, and UAE regulations.

The role emphasizes strong process discipline, accuracy in bank systems, and proactive risk management. You will collaborate with TLs, monitor tasks, and support continuous improvement across the credit facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 5 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the credit facility function.

Responsibilities

• Authorize / Process / Encode credit limits and ensure accurate detailing into the bank systems with maintenance of Bank & Country Limits per Credit Approvals.
• Maintain accuracy on interest rates, commissions, fees and charges.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, SOPs, SLAs and DOA within FAB and affiliates.
• Support Team Leader in distributing work and ensuring smooth day-to-day transactions.
• Prepare memos and reports for provisioning, ratings changes, and settlements.
• Provide guidance and training to staff and monitor performance.
• Pursue process improvements and ensure strong housekeeping and risk controls.
