Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced SME Credit Analyst in the UAE to assess applications, analyze financial statements and cash flow, and prepare credit proposals across working capital and receivables financing. You will engage with clients, evaluate risk, and contribute to credit policy development in a fast-paced fintech-enabled lending platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting or lending.
• Experience in SME Banking, Business Banking, Commercial Banking or SME Lending.
• Proven ability to prepare credit proposals and lending recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assess SME credit applications, evaluating financial performance, cash flows, receivables and debt obligations.
• Conduct detailed financial statement analysis to determine repayment capacity and creditworthiness.
• Prepare comprehensive credit proposals, risk assessments and lending recommendations.
• Evaluate financing requirements and structure solutions to support working capital needs.
• Assess invoice financing and receivables financing opportunities.
• Engage with clients to understand business models and financing requirements.
• Monitor existing credit exposures and recommend risk mitigation measures.
• Support portfolio reviews, facility renewals and amendments.
• Contribute to development of credit policies and risk frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve credit processes through technology and data-led assessment.
• Support the continued development and expansion of the credit function.
