Job summary

Client of Michael Page is seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst in the UAE to monitor counterparty exposures and assess credit risk across customers, suppliers, and trading partners. You will develop risk policies and ensure regulatory alignment while reporting to senior management.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of UAE credit risk or trade finance experience, strong financial analysis skills, and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python within a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Mandatory UAE experience within credit risk, credit analysis, trade finance or risk management.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in counterparty credit risk or credit analysis.
• Experience in a commodity trading house, energy company or financial institution supporting trade finance activities.
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess counterparty credit risk exposures.
• Conduct credit evaluations and prepare risk assessments for counterparties.
• Develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies.
• Maintain records and reports related to credit risk assessments.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly exposure and credit risk reports.
• Support audits and reviews related to credit risk management.
