Job summary

Delta Executive Search Ltd. is partnering with a leading international bank to recruit a senior Coverage Banker based in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on originating and developing relationships with major UAE and GCC corporates and GREs.

You will own the client dialogue, coordinate across product, credit and execution teams, and leverage global networks to deliver cross-border financing, capital markets and advisory opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior corporate/CIB coverage within a leading international or regional bank.
• Strong network and established senior relationships with UAE/GCC corporates, GREs and strategic clients.
• Track record of originating significant banking relationships across multiple products.
• Solid corporate-banking foundations, including credit, lending and balance-sheet considerations.
• Breadth across investment banking and capital markets products to identify opportunities.
• Experience with product teams in structured finance, project finance, DCM, treasury.
• Strong cross-border banking understanding and ability to connect regional clients with international teams.
• Ability to act as relationship owner and originator, not just a product executor.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop senior relationships with major corporates, GREs and strategic clients across the UAE and wider GCC.
• Act as the senior coverage point for key client relationships, understanding strategy, capital requirements, financing needs and priorities.
• Originate new relationships and deepen the Bank’s penetration of existing clients.
• Identify opportunities across the full CIB product spectrum: lending, advisory, markets, trade finance and treasury.
• Collaborate with product specialists to develop solutions and coordinate delivery to clients.
• Lead client and origination dialogues with product, credit, structuring and execution teams.
• Develop senior connectivity with decision-makers across major corporate groups and government-related organisations.
• Increase wallet share with broad, long-term institutional relationships.
