Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an experienced Costing & Tax Manager to lead cost accounting, VAT compliance, fixed assets and policy development. You will drive accurate cost data, standard cost maintenance, and inventory accountability while enforcing strong expense controls.

The role requires BIG 4 experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 7+ years in costing and VAT, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
• BIG 4 experience - mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree related to Accounting/Finance required.
• Professional Qualifications / Certification - advantageous.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting, including submission of timesheets, hours analysis, standard cost development and maintenance, and inventory accountability.
• Oversee VAT transactions, reporting compliance, and training for stakeholders to ensure timely VAT submissions.
• Manage fixed assets inventories, write-offs, discrepancies, and physical counts to maintain accurate records.
• Review and develop VAT policies to implement correct processes per guidelines.
