Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a high-impact legal leadership role based on-site in Fujairah, UAE. You will advise the GCEO and senior leaders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters, leading drafting and negotiations of complex agreements across the Group.

You will also support acquisitions, JVs, restructurings and other strategic transactions while driving governance, risk management, and efficient legal operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified lawyer with 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
• Strong corporate and commercial law background with experience negotiating complex agreements.
• Experience with UAE/GCC environments and working with senior executives.
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives and provide practical advice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal legal adviser to the GCEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters.
• Lead drafting, negotiation and review of complex commercial agreements across the Group.
• Support acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
• Drive legal governance, risk management and operations, including matter tracking and reporting.
• Manage external law firms and advisers, ensuring high-quality support and cost-effective outcomes.
• Build legal frameworks, templates and processes to improve efficiency and risk management across the organisation.
